Cloud Connect 30 Leaders Closed-Doors Meeting
On July 23rd, 2020, the Cloud Connect China 2020, as supervised by the Ningbo Municipal People's Government, organized by Informa Markets, the largest exhibition organization in the world, and undertaken jointly by Informa Enterprise Management (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and Ningbo Younage Exhibition Co., Ltd., was successfully closed in Pan Pacific Hotel Ningbo. During the three-day Conference, over 600 participants, 32 speakers, 16 exhibitors and 26 media participated in the “Cloud Connect 30 Leaders Closed-Doors Meeting” on the first day, as well as two keynotes, four tracks and technology exhibition areas in the other two days.
At the opening ceremony of the Conference, guest speaker Mr. Gu Liqun, Deputy Secretary General of the Ningbo Municipal People's Government, quoted the important address by Zheng Shanjie, Deputy Secretary of Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of Ningbo Municipal Party Committee, at the 8th Plenary Session of the 13th Ningbo Municipal Party Committee, that was, we should further implement the No.1 Digital Economy Project, accelerate the pilot demonstration of 5G + industrial internet, strengthen investment in new infrastructure construction, and accelerate the integration and application of 5G, blockchain, AI and other information technologies of the new generation, and we should realize the common development of the industries in the deep integration of collaborative manufacturing frameworks, industrial operating systems, edge intelligence and machine learning models, and strive to build a leading industrial internet city and a distinctive software city in China, thus pointed out the direction and emphasis for the development of digital economy in Ningbo.
After that, on behalf of all the attendees of C30, Mr. Bill Zhang, VP, Informa Markets China, released the "C30 Consensus", as reached in the "Cloud Connect 30 Leaders Closed-Doors Meeting" on July 21st by representatives from governments, enterprises, academic and research institutions and end users side. The “C30 Consensus” is mainly composed of five parts, namely, digital transformation, digital governance of public health system, new infrastructure, industrial Internet, and the priority of standards and norms.
The Conference in this year focused on the digital transformation of enterprises, deeply discussed the specific application of could computing by enterprises, and analyzed the cases of digital transformation in different industries. Represented by keynote speaker Dr. Jie Li, Member of The Engineering Academy of Japan and Professor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, over 30 distinguished guests from leading technology companies, well-known universities and third-party neutral institutions at home and abroad, including Cloud Security Alliance Greater China Region, Alibaba Cloud, Chinajey, Kingdee, Huawei Technology, Ping’an Technology, China Unicom, SF Technology, ZTO Express, Omdia and Roland Berger, etc., attended the two keynotes and four tracks, and gave wonderful keynote speeches.
Besides all the distinguished guests from home and abroad, as well as the content of the Conference, the final winners of the core event "Top Cloud Connect Awards" were also announced on the opening ceremony. In this year, industrial participants also paid close attention to the selection of 7th Top Cloud Connect Awards. Totally 387 application for awards by 183 enterprises were received. 70 individual and team awards under 7 categories were finally granted to commend the teams, individuals and products that have made outstanding contributions to China's cloud computing industry and represented the spirit of innovation from 2019 to 2020. Among all the awards, the 2020 Cloud Contributor on COVID-19 Fight, as a special annual award, was actively nominated by various industries, and 41 Cloud Contributors on COVID-19 Fight were awarded. The Conference advocated the spirit of public dedication of the cloud computing industry through the core industry media as well.
A group of enterprises from industries of IT and cloud services, including Primeton, Ningbo Tencent Cloud Industry Base, Chinajey, GFGQ, Kingdee, Shanghai @hub, Ping’an Technology, Seeyon, 99Cloud, Kingsoft Office, CASIC, NIAII, IOT-JD, Hangyun Network and CStack, also set up small booths at the Conference to show the latest technologies and the application of outcomes, so as to realize in-depth one-to-one communication between exhibitor and target customer, assist enterprises to continuously promote the construction of digital infrastructure, and reconstruct the competitive advantage of the enterprise.
